  • DOES SCAFFOLD INSPECTION & TESTING HAVE INSURANCE?
    Access/SIT is fully insured and can provide custom insurance that will meet your project’s specification.
  • WHAT IS THE PLATFORM’S WEIGHT CAPACITY?
    Exterior Building Maintenance basket load capacity is 250 lbs. (Safe Working Load) Exterior Building Maintenance platform load capacity is 500 lbs. (Safe Working Load)
  • DOES ACCESS/SIT-CO WORK WITH COMMERCIAL OR RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS?
    Access Systems and Solutions and SIT-CO (Scaffold Inspection and Testing) provides Exterior Building Maintenance on any buildings over 36 feet and as high as 490 feet in height.
  • DO YOU ONLY SELL SCAFFOLDING?
    Access/SIT is a local manufacturer of permanent platforms, transportable davits, roof and wall anchors, flush mount roof anchors, horizontal life lines, and transportable outrigger systems.
  • HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO GET MY PLATFORM INSPECTED?
    All Exterior Building Maintenance equipment need to be inspected once a year with some conditions that will require pre-use services.

  • IS ACCESS/SIT REGULATED?
    Access/SIT is regulated and licensed by Cal-OSHA. The following are just some of the regulations pertaining to Exterior Building Maintenance: • Article 5: General Industry Safety Orders • ASME A120: Standards Committee on Safety Requirements for Powered Platforms and Traveling Ladders and Gantries for Building Maintenance • IWCA: Water-Fed Pole Safety • Labor Code: Section 7325-7332 • Standards for Lift Work
  • WHERE DOES ACCESS/SIT PROVIDE SERVICE?
    Access/SIT provides service in Northern and Southern California.
  • HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR PRODUCTS TO BE DELIVERED?
    Every project is different, and it is dependent on the type and amount of equipment, as well as current construction schedule. For a mid-sized 6-story project, the timeline is approximately 12 weeks to design, engineer, fabricate, and install an exterior building maintenance system.
  • CAN THE PLATFORM BE USED IN MULTIPLE BUILDINGS?
    Permanent Exterior Building Maintenance equipment can only be used at the building that it was designed for.
